The Significance of STEM Education

In the rapidly evolving world of technology and innovation, the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education cannot be overstated. These fields foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills essential not only in today's job market, but across many aspects of life. Encouraging children to explore these disciplines helps cultivate a mindset geared toward curiosity and lifelong learning. "I started coding in C++ at a young age and participated in competitions and olympiads throughout my early and high school years. This experience was crucial in developing my programming skills and exploring the capabilities of the C++ language," he says.

Sharing His Knowledge

Andrei's first interaction with training happened about three years ago when he started teaching programming to children aged 10-18 at a very basic level. About and a half ago, he received an opportunity to be a trainer at a programming academy. His primary motivation for teaching and writing C++ courses in his free time? "To share my passion," he says. His most important lesson from this journey was that the learning process is reciprocal.

Learning: A Complete Circle

The knowledge gained as a C++ trainer is reflected in Andrei's day-to-day job at HARMAN through writing clean and efficient code and problem solving across various projects. "Although I currently try to learn more from my colleagues than to share information, I believe that over time the balance may shift. However, if I can help a colleague with a piece of knowledge, I do not hesitate to do so." This exchange of information is highly beneficial for the company, as it aids in the accelerated professional growth of each employee, and HARMAN excels in teamwork culture and information exchange.
