Armin Prommersberger

Armin Prommersberger

Chief Technology Officer

Armin Prommersberger is the Chief Technology Officer of HARMAN. HARMAN is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

Most recently, Armin served as Senior Vice President, Divisional Product Management, Strategy & Technology, for HARMAN Automotive where he lead a team envisioning the HARMAN Automotive product line of tomorrow, delivering Consumer Experiences at Automotive Grade to leading global automakers and their customers. As HARMAN’s Chief Technology Officer, he is a member of HARMAN’s Senior Leadership Committee (SLC) and reports to President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Mauser.

Armin previously held various leadership positions in the Lifestyle, Professional and Automotive Divisions at HARMAN where he has shaped the company’s product direction and future experiences for the Consumer, Pro Audio and Automotive sectors.

Apart from HARMAN, he is an accomplished technologist, serial entrepreneur and transformational leader with over 30 years of experience in the acoustics, music, consumer electronics and automotive industries. He has served as Chief Product Officer of Music Tribe and its boutique professional audio brands including Midas, Klark Teknik, Behringer and Tannoy, and as Chief Technology Officer of Dirac Research.
