The first three episodes will take viewers to India, visiting the sights and sounds of Mumbai, New Delhi, Rajasthan, and the Bollywood influence that they enjoy. From there, we are off to Jamaica for some spicy food and even spicier Reggae music in the finest traditions of the legendary Bob Marley. More than 100 hours of filming in these two locations alone promise a true feast of music and travel adventure, and the production crew is already packing for additional on-location shoots in the US, Europe and Asia.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our company to celebrate the role of music from every genre and generation and to drive global brand awareness for the Harman products that make it possible,” said Dinesh C. Paliwal, Harman’s Chairman and CEO. “Harman’s technologies are integral to both the recording and broadcast of fine music and its enjoyment by discriminating audiences worldwide, and we are honored to join our broadcast partners in the production of this series.”
“We are delighted with Harman International’s support to help make this series possible,” said Sydney Suissa, Executive Vice President of Content for National Geographic Channels. “Harman’s passion for excellence in the entertainment field is a natural complement to our own, and we look forward to providing our mutual audience with some very memorable experiences.”
